Work have you stressed to the max? The modern-day American works a 9-5 job which often requires long hours strapped to a desk with little time to break away and take a breather. This can make for a very stressful day which can cause us to feel tense, irritable, and anxious.

#1 Get up: Our bodies aren’t designed to sit all day. We need to move! If you are feeling tense, overwhelmed, distracted, or frazzled, get up and take a quick walk. It doesn’t matter if it’s a walk to the restroom, or if you take a walking lunch break. Just make sure you are getting up often throughout your work day. It makes a huge difference, and when you come back you will be ready to get back to work.
