5 Refreshing Ways to Stay Hydrated This Summer

#1 Make Fruit-Infused Iced Cubes

If you need a little flavor boost in your bottle of water, try pureeing some fruits and freezing the fruit juice in ice cube trays. It may add that flavor boost you need to keep sipping on water throughout the day.

#2 Sip on a Smoothie With Coconut Water

Coconut water is a great thirst quencher and contains important electrolytes. Try using coconut water as the base for your smoothies to give them an added hydration boost!

#3 Enjoy Water-Rich Foods

Foods like watermelon, cantaloupe, and peaches are all high in water content, making them a great addition to your diet this summer. You can enjoy them as a yummy treat or add them to your smoothies.

#4 Start Your Day With a Tall Glass of Water

A great way to stay on top of hydration is to start your day with a tall glass of water before anything else. Sip on water before your morning cup of coffee or tea to start rehydrating after an all-night fast and to set the tone for healthy hydration habits throughout the day.

#5 Set Hydration Reminders

If you tend to go all day forgetting to sip on your water bottle, try setting hydration reminders! This could be on your phone or even using post-it notes to remind yourself to hydrate. It’s a simple tip, but may do the trick to remind yourself to get hydrating!
